Everything on the refill bar, with the full ingredient list for each product as its maker publishes it, and the maker's own directions where they give them. Nothing here is rewritten. If a maker doesn't publish directions, we say so rather than guessing.

Scent on any fill is essential oil, added at the bar for $1. The essential oils are not part of the lists below. Ask us which oils are on hand that day.

How to use

Use one tablespoon of Nellie's Laundry Soda for each regular sized load. Wash according to instructions on garments. Safe for HE and standard washing machines. Use the machine's dispenser if labeled for powder or add right into the drum.

Oxygen Brightener

Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Sulfate, Linear Alcohol Ethoxylate

How to use

Machine wash: add into the wash cycle with Nellie's Laundry Soda. Small loads, 1 tablespoon. Regular loads, 2 tablespoons. Large loads, 3 tablespoons.

Pre-soak or hand wash: separate whites from colors. Use one tablespoon along with Laundry Soda in 10 L (2.6 gallons) of warm or hot water. Soak for half an hour, then rinse thoroughly.

Stains, carpet and surfaces: 1 tablespoon per 16 oz (500 ml) of water. Apply to the stain, wait 1 to 5 minutes, then scrub with a sponge or blot with a towel. On carpet, soak up excess liquid first, use only enough solution to cover the spot, blot with a white towel, rinse with water and blot dry.

Stain Remover

How to use

Spray directly on the stain and wash. For tougher spots, lightly rub and let sit briefly. For the toughest of stains, lightly rub the stain remover into the fabric and let sit for a short time.

How to use

All Purpose Multi-Surface Cleaner

How to use

Spray soiled surface areas and wipe clean using paper towel or damp cloth. For heavily soiled surface areas, spray and allow to soak for 30 seconds before wiping. For any surfaces you are not sure of, test on a small area first.

Lots of Purpose Cleaner Concentrate

Rustic Strength · unscented · 2X concentrate

Ingredients

High-purity water, alcohol (ethyl), caprylyl capryl glucoside, coco-glucoside, sodium citrate, phenoxyethanol, sodium gluconate, caprylyl glycol, citric acid

How to use

Add water, shake, spray. This product cannot be used as is. It needs to be diluted 1 to 1 with water. Spray the desired amount on a lightly soiled or dusty surface and wipe down with a clean cloth. No rinsing necessary.

Dishwasher Powder

Nellie's Clean · unscented

Sodium Chloride, Sodium Carbonate, Citric Acid, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Metasilicate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Silicate, Protease

How to use

Use the hottest water available (140°F to 150°F). Fill detergent cups as recommended by the machine manufacturer. If the machine has no cup dispenser, place 1 tablespoon in the bottom of the dishwasher for an average load of dishes.

Coffee Dust

Four blends from Vashon Island Coffee Dust, sold by the level teaspoon. One teaspoon is 8 of the maker's 1/8-teaspoon servings.

Captain's: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Turmeric, Cardamom and Sea Salt
Healthful: Cinnamon, Turmeric, Ginger, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Black Pepper and Sea Salt
Hot Momma: Ghirardelli cocoa, cayenne, cinnamon and sea salt
Spicy Papa: Cinnamon, Ginger, Cayenne, Allspice and Sea Salt

How to use

Pre-brew: add 1/2 teaspoon per mug to your grounds. Works for drip, pour-over, French press and espresso. Post-brew: add 1/8 teaspoon per mug on top of your coffee, or froth it with your milk. Start there and adjust to taste. Coffee Dust clogs Aeropress paper filters, so add it to the mug instead, or use a metal reusable filter.

The maker also suggests it on ice cream, oatmeal, popcorn, whipped cream, hot chocolate, in tea, in milkshakes, and as a dry rub for chicken (especially Captain's).
