Welcome to Hive Provisions + Refillery. By visiting our website, shopping with us in-store, or using our refillery program, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them — they are written to be straightforward and fair. If you have any questions, we are always happy to talk.

1. About Us

Hive Provisions + Refillery is a retail shop located on South 11th Street in Tacoma, Washington. We sell thoughtfully curated goods from small makers and offer a refill program for everyday consumables. These Terms apply to your use of our website and your transactions with us, both online and in-store.

2. Using Our Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on the rights of others. You may not:

Use the site to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems
Scrape, copy, or reproduce our product descriptions, images, or content without permission
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person

We reserve the right to suspend access for anyone who violates these terms.

3. Orders & Payments

Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website or in-store, you are making an offer to purchase the listed product at the listed price. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock, a pricing error has occurred, or we suspect fraudulent activity. We will notify you promptly and issue a full refund if an order is cancelled on our end.

Pricing

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure accuracy, but if a pricing error is discovered after your order is placed, we will contact you before proceeding.

Payment

We accept payment via the methods available at checkout. By submitting payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Payment is processed securely through Shopify.

Sales Tax

Applicable Washington State sales tax, or your location’s sales tax, will be added to your order at checkout.

4. Refillery Program

Our refillery program allows customers to refill containers with select consumable products. By participating, you agree to the following:

Container Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring your containers are clean, food-safe (where applicable), and structurally sound before bringing them in for a refill. Hive Provisions + Refillery is not liable for spills, leaks, or product loss due to a damaged or unsuitable container.

Tare Weights

Containers are weighed before filling (tare weight) to ensure you are charged only for the product. We make every effort to record accurate tare weights. If you believe there has been an error, please let us know at the time of transaction or contact us within 48 hours.

Standard Vessels

We offer standard vessels for purchase if you do not have your own container. These are yours to keep and reuse on future visits.

Product Availability

Refillery product availability may vary. We cannot guarantee that a specific refill product will always be in stock. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate availability changes.

Minimum Fill Amount

Some products may have a minimum fill quantity. This will be communicated clearly at the station or upon request.

5. Shipping & Local Pickup

We currently offer local pickup at our South 11th Street location. If we introduce shipping or local delivery in the future, specific terms will be added here. We will communicate estimated timelines clearly and notify you of any significant delays.

6. Product Descriptions & Accuracy

We work hard to accurately describe our products, including ingredients, materials, and sourcing where relevant. However, we cannot guarantee that all descriptions are error-free. If you have specific concerns — such as allergens, material sensitivities, or ingredient questions — please ask us before purchasing. We are happy to help.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including photographs, product descriptions, the Hive Provisions + Refillery name, logo, and branding — is our property or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hive Provisions + Refillery is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, products, or refillery services. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that specific transaction.

This does not affect your rights as a consumer under Washington State law.

Our website may reference or link to neighboring businesses and the brands we carry. These links are provided as a courtesy. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites, and a link does not constitute an endorsement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pierce County, Washington.
